BlockAvenue has already been dubbed a startup to watch and has been recognized by top publications, such as TechCrunch, Crain’s, and the Boston Globe.

Now it’s time to continue spreading the word city to city, college to college, person to person, with the help of our BlockAvenue Campus Ambassadors!

Who are BlockAvenue Campus Ambassadors?
BlockAvenue Campus Ambassadors are marketing representatives that promote the company’s brand, goals, and initiatives by completing a variety of monthly tasks and assignments. They are an integral part of our team and work on the ground level using their presence−both online and in-person−to spread the word about BlockAvenue.

We are looking for enthusiastic and creative students willing to engage with the BlockAvenue brand in an organized and reliable way. As a BlockAvenue Campus Ambassador, you are a voice on your campus and a leader in your community.

What are the responsibilities?
BlockAvenue Campus Ambassadors have two monthly responsibilities:

    1. Introduce 20 new users to the BlockAvenue website by guiding them in creating a profile & writing an initial review.
    2. Publicly promote the BlockAvenue brand in creative ways on and around your campus.

What are the rewards?
Upon full completion of tasks, Ambassadors will be rewarded with:

    • Monthly pay & additional compensation for Top Ambassadors
    • Formal marketing internship & detailed profile on our site
    • Personalized letter of recommendation upon completion of a successful Ambassadorship
    • Potential for fulltime employment

Where do you start?
Each applicant must take the preliminary BlockAvenue Challenge: write 5 quality BlockReviews on varied locations, share each review on your preferred social media account(s), and comment on 5 other people’s reviews in areas of your choice and familiarity.

Upon completion of the BlockAvenue challenge, applicants must submit an email to us with their name & link to their BlockAvenue profile, evidence of their shares, and a brief description of what makes them a good candidate for the BlockAvenue Campus Ambassador position.

Challenges will only be accepted if written in detail with current and relevant information. The more thorough the review, the better chance you have at becoming one of two BlockAvenue Campus Ambassadors at your school.

Participating schools: Babson College, Bentley College, Boston College, Boston University, Brandeis University, Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University, Suffolk University, Tufts University, UMass Amherst, UMass Boston, UMass Lowell.

Want in? For further information or inquiries, please contact our Community Manager, Sara Bendetson. Don’t see your school? Let us know and we’ll work with you in creating a program there.

Applications are rolling in fast so get ready, get set, REVIEW!
